Panjabi MC’s curiosity for music got him to the centre stage of Punjabi music.

Mixing hip hop with the dhol beat, Rajinder Singh Rai, better known as Panjabi MC – has produced some of the most iconic bhangra fusion music. His song, ‘Mundian Toh Bach Ke’, has sold over 10 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling singles of all time.

Follow the story of a rapper who found his voice by sampling traditional Punjabi music with hip hop beats.

Straight Up Punjab, a Punjabi music mega concert, will be showcased LIVE with an interactive chat on 5th of October 2019 6pm IST onwards.

The biggest Punjabi music night will feature some of your favourite superstars from Badshah to Neha Kakkar, from Sukhbir to Panjabi MC, performing some new and some recreations of songs revisiting the Punjabi folk classics for you at this YouTube Originals LIVE concert.
